Pitts - George Edgar

George Edgar Pitts, 76, a resident of Russellville, died at the Liter Nursing Home in Crawfordsville at 7:25 p.m. Wednesday. He was born in Parke County January 18, 1881, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Elijah Pitts. He married Pearl Inge Sutherland in 1926. Surviving are the wife; a nephew, Robert Pitts of Browns Valley and several cousins. The body was taken to the McGaughey & Son Funeral Home in Russellville and later to the residence. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. at the Russellville Federated church. - transcribed by kbz
